In 1986 I made a bet with my buddy Phan. He was a little Cambodian guy with darker skin and awesome hair and we were thick as thieves. I can’t for the life of me remember what the bet was about but I remember that if I won he would have to take a goofy picture with a Prince poster from Purple Rain. If he won, I would have to take a picture with my Rick Springfield poster. I lost. So here it is:

Also, while I thought for sure this was stupid looking and (if I were capable of embarrassment) embarrassing, my wife somehow loves this picture. I’d feel less awkward with sharing if she said “you look like a jackass”, but still…enjoy!
